2007 East Coast Showcase Prizes

Each year we start this event with our cash prizes listed, we add additional prizes that are provided by our sponsors throughout the year. Without the support of our sponsors, this event would not be as grand. We ask for you to take note of who is supporting your music next time you make a purchase that falls in one of our sponsor's categories.

Participating Bands

All participating bands will receive a $25 gift certificate from Sam Ash® Music Corporation & Affiliates and any additional prizes that our sponsor's may include throughout the year and additional prizes they may win by going to the other rounds in this event.

Preliminary Tryout Nights

On our preliminary tryout nights we will have two bands that will walk away with $50 cash prize. One band will win the $50 based on the most votes received from the audience and a semi-finals night slot. The other band chosen by our staff's choice will also receive $50 and a staff's choice night slot. Participants may also receive any additional prizes that our sponsor's may include throughout the year. Any cancellations will effect the prize money each night. For any bands who cancel or do not show up, the cash will lessen by $20 each.

Semi-Finals Night

On votes semi-final night the top two bands will receive a slot in the finals night.

Staff's Choice

The top two bands will receive a slot in the finals night.

Finals Night

We will have three rounds of final nights. Out of each round, the top two bands will receive a $250 prize and any additional prizes that our sponsor's may include throughout the year.

Grand Finals

The night that everyone will be anticipating will be seven of the best bands throughout the year going head-to-head competing to be the 2007-2008 ECS grand prize winner. The grand prize winner will receive a prize pack worth almost $10,000! This is based on all bands, that are participating throughout the entire competition, to show up and on time. Any cancellations or no shows will effect the final prize money, the amount deducted is determined by the number of no shows and/or cancellations. This package may include $3000 cash. The prize pack may also include a gift certificate of $500 from Sam Ash® Music Corporation & Affilates, a music video from SFS Video valued at $4,000. All participating bands on this night may also receive any additional prizes that our sponsor's may include throughout the year. Once again all prizes are determined taking account of all bands participation. Any cancellation and/or no show will effect the final prize money(cash) amount as well as possibly the prize package amount.
